Science-Based initiative (SBTi)
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organizations to set science-based emissions reduction targets.
- Simplo Group’s near-term emissions reduction targets (1.5°C scenario) are approved by the SBTi in 2023.
- Reduce absolute scope1 and 2 GHG emissions 51% by 2030 from a 2020 base year.
- Reduce absolute scope3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services 25% from a 2020 base year.
CDP(Formerly "Carbon Disclosure Project")
As an independent non-profit organization, CDP combines the supply chain of investors and brands, and encourages companies to disclose, assess and manage environmental risks or opportunities.
- Simplo achieved "B" score in the 2023 Climate Change of CDP.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which promotes countries around the world to achieve the Goals.
- Simplo uses innovative thinking to take stock of the core resources of the enterprise's own industry and identify SDGs targets.
- Follow the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and focus on the core advantages of SDG 3, SDG 5, SDG 7, SDG 9, SDG 12, SDG 13, SDG 17, and draw up a blueprint for sustainable strategies.
Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)
Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), formerly known as EICC, expanded the definition of membership in 2017, not only limited to the electronics industry, but also covers the supply chain in addition to its own code of conduct.
- Simplo joined RBA membership in 2021.
- Simplo(Changshu) obtained the VAP silver certification.
RE100
RE100 is the global corporate renewable energy initiative bringing together hundreds of large and ambitious businesses committed to 100% renewable electricity.
- Simplo joined RE100, and committed to using 100% of renewable energy by 2040.
