Simplo Technology continues active participation in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). In 2025, Simplo earned a "B" (Management level) rating for both "Climate Change" and "Water Security." To be honored to achiev an "A" rating in 8 out of 16 scoring categories for Climate Change, underscoring the effectiveness of its climate governance strategy and robust execution capabilities.
Simplo Technology has deeply focus the mindset sustainability climate change issues, integrated SDG 13 (Climate Action) into its core operational strategy, formulating proactive climate adaptation and mitigation measures. In 2023, Simplo became the first global battery module manufacturer to have its near-term targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Simplo also obtained approval for its SBTi Net-Zero commitment in January 2025, with plans to submit a comprehensive Net-Zero roadmap by 2026.
In 2024, Simplo joined the RE100 international initiative, committed to achieve 100% renewable energy across all global operations by 2040. To support this goal, Simplo’s manufacturing sites have implemented ISO 50001 energy management systems, established high-efficiency automated processes, and expanded solar panel installations. Additionally, the corporate headquarters has secured Renewable Energy Certificates (T-RECs), contributing to the Group’s impressive 80% renewable energy coverage rate in 2024.
Simplo hold an annual Sustainable Supply Chain ESG Advocacy Meeting to foster sustainable value chain, and principle of "Sustainability at the Core, Partner Prosperity Together". These ongoing efforts were internationally recognized with the highest "A" grade in the CDP 2024 Supplier Engagement Rating (SER).
